What Is It?

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injections for hair loss use the patient's own blood — concentrated to increase platelet content — and inject it into the scalp to stimulate dormant follicles and prolong the growth phase of the hair cycle. It is used to treat androgenetic alopecia and alopecia areata in both men and women.

How It Works

Blood is drawn, centrifuged to separate the PRP, and then injected at multiple points across the thinning scalp using a fine needle or mesotherapy gun. The growth factors in PRP (PDGF, VEGF, TGF-β) stimulate hair follicle activity, improve local blood supply, and promote the anagen (growth) phase.

Realistic Results
