What Is It?

Cheek fillers use hyaluronic acid to restore volume to the mid-face, lift the lower face, and create higher, more defined cheekbones. As facial fat pads descend with age, cheek fillers replace lost volume and provide a subtle lifting effect on the nasolabial folds and jowls.

How It Works

A thick, cohesive filler is injected deep over the cheekbone periosteum using a needle, or placed into the deep fat compartments using a cannula. This provides structural support and lift. The product integrates with surrounding tissue and results are shaped and checked in real time.

Realistic Results

Immediate lifting and volumisation with results that settle and look most natural at 2–4 weeks. Results last 12–24 months in the cheek area, which has lower movement than the lips. The lifting effect on the lower face can also reduce nasolabial fold depth.

Recovery

Mild swelling and firmness in the cheeks for 3–5 days. Bruising may occur, particularly if a needle is used. Most patients are comfortable returning to social activities within 48–72 hours.
